Allegheny Technologies Inc. (ATI), one of the major special steel and stainless steel producers in the US announced that the company earned net profits of US$158.4 million, falling from US$214.3 million from a year ago.
In 2012, the company realizes sales of US$5.03 billion, decreasing from US$5.18 billion in 2011.
In the fourth quarter of 2012, ATI posted earnings of US$31.7 million with sales of US$1.25 billion.
